Accepting these terms

These terms cover your use of this website and any work you hire Atlas Roswell Spray Foam Insulation to do. When you browse the site, call us, send the form on our contact page or book a job, you agree to them, so please read them before you go further.

If you don't agree with something here, please don't use the site, and tell us before we start any work so we can talk it through. A signed written estimate or agreement for your specific job comes first wherever it differs from these general terms.

What we do

We're an insulation contractor in Roswell, NM, and we also work in Artesia and the cities around them. Our work includes attic, wall, crawl space and basement insulation, blown-in insulation, which is loose fill blown through a hose, spray foam, insulation removal, air sealing, which closes gaps before insulating, and vapor barriers for homes and commercial buildings.

The service descriptions on this site and on our home page are general. What we'll actually do at your house is what your written estimate says, because every attic and crawl space is different. You can read more about our crew and how we work.

Estimates and pricing

We give free in-person estimates with no obligation to hire us. The price depends on what we find, including the size of the space, how much insulation is already up there and what shape it's in, how easy the space is to reach and which material you choose.

An estimate is based on what we can see on the day we look. Once the job is open we sometimes find things that weren't visible, like old insulation that's wet or full of droppings, damaged framing, buried vents or wiring that needs an electrician. When that happens we stop, show you what we found and explain what it would cost to handle it, and we don't do the extra work until you approve it.

Unless your estimate says otherwise, it stays good for 30 days. After that, material prices may have moved, so we may need to look again before we hold to a number.

Scheduling, access and cancellation

We'll give you a start date and a rough idea of how long the crew will be at your house when you book. Weather, material deliveries and what we find once we're in the attic can move that, and we'll call you as soon as we know about a change.

You agree to give the crew safe access to the work area and to move stored items out of the way, or let us know ahead of time if you need help with that. Spray foam jobs need everyone, including kids and pets, out of the house during spraying and until re-entry time, which is when it's safe to come back. We'll tell you how long to plan for before the job starts.

If you need to cancel or reschedule, call us at (575) 363-2021 as soon as you can. If we've already ordered special material for your job or the crew has shown up and can't get in, we may charge for those costs, and your estimate will say so if it applies.

Payment

Your written estimate lists the total, any deposit and when payment is due. Unless it says otherwise, the balance is due when the work is finished and we've walked you through it.

If a payment is late, we may pause any remaining work until it's settled, and you're responsible for reasonable costs of collecting what's owed, as New Mexico law allows.

Our guarantee and its limits

Our work is backed by our satisfaction guarantee. If something we installed isn't right, call us and we'll come back out to look at it and make it right.

Insulation materials carry their own maker's warranties, and we'll pass along any that apply to your job. Beyond that guarantee and those warranties, we don't promise any particular drop in your power bill or a set temperature in a given room, because results depend on things outside our work, like your windows, ductwork, heating and cooling system and how you run them.

The guarantee doesn't cover damage from leaks, pests, storms, later remodeling or work by someone else in the same space. It also doesn't cover problems we pointed out and you chose not to have fixed.

Limitation of liability

We're licensed and fully insured, and we take responsibility for damage our crew causes while working at your house. Outside of that, as far as New Mexico law allows, our responsibility for any claim tied to a job is limited to the amount you paid us for that job.

We aren't responsible for conditions that were already there before we started, like hidden water damage, mold, pest activity or old wiring, or for indirect losses such as lost use of a room or time off work. Nothing here limits any right you have that the law doesn't allow a business to take away.

Using this website

The articles, photos and descriptions on this site are general information about insulation, not advice for your specific house. We try to keep them accurate, but we don't promise that everything is complete or current, so use your estimate for the facts about your job.

The words, photos and design of this site belong to Atlas Roswell Spray Foam Insulation. Please don't copy them for commercial use without asking us first. Links to outside sites are there for your convenience, and we aren't responsible for what those sites say or do.

Resolving a problem

If you're unhappy with anything, call us first at (575) 363-2021 or reach us through our contact page. Most problems get sorted out with a phone call and a visit, and we'd much rather fix it than argue about it.

If we can't settle it between us within 30 days, either of us can take it to the courts of the State of New Mexico in Chaves County, including small claims court where the amount fits.

Governing law

These terms and any job we do for you are governed by the laws of the State of New Mexico, without regard to rules that would point to another state's laws.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time, and the version posted here is the one that applies. A change won't alter the terms of a job you've already signed for unless we both agree to it in writing.

If you have a question about any of this, call us at (575) 363-2021 or send us a note on the contact page, and we'll explain it in plain words.
